For the first time ever, the world's most populous nation will host the Olympic Games. The Beijing Games will be the biggest TV event of 2008, and one of the most important global events of the decade. The Games of the XXIX Olympiad will help introduce the world to a 21st century China.
Beijing 2008 will be the largest Olympics in history with 11,000 athletes from more than 200 countries competing in 302 events. The American team will be as deep and talented as ever, led by swimming superstar Michael Phelps, who has the potential to shatter the all time record for career gold medals and become the greatest Olympic champion of all time.
NBC will bring viewers more Olympics coverage than ever before. With over 2000 hours of coverage, on-air, online, and on-the-go, viewers will have the opportunity to consume Olympic content wherever, whenever, and however they want. In Primetime, viewers will be able to watch LIVE coverage of premier sports, including swimming, gymnastics and beach volleyball, giving Beijing 2008 the feel of a domestic Games and keeping viewers on the edge of their seats.

Once the festivities of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade end, exclusive coverage of The National Dog Show Presented by Purina begins. The annual canine competition from the famed Kennel Club of Philadelphia is one of the most prestigious sporting events in North America. John O'Hurley (J. Peterman of Seinfeld) and David Frei once again host all the tail-wagging action, culminating in the awarding of Best in Show. Broadcast exclusively on NBC, The National Dog Show is a network holiday tradition that everyone can embrace.
